LifeShare Community Blood Services is a community-focused nonprofit organization committed to providing a safe and adequate blood and component supply for patient healthcare in Northeast Ohio. With a deep understanding that donors are our most valuable community resource, we strive for excellence in customer care.
Our Philosophy
LifeShare is guided by the philosophy that community blood donations should benefit community patients, and that blood centers must be responsive to the community that supports them.
Who We Are
LifeShare is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization that operates on behalf of patients and their loved ones across Northeast Ohio. Founded in 1948, LifeShare Community Blood Services continues to be a valuable source of blood to Lorain County and is a primary provider to Cuyahoga and Stark counties. Our blood center maintains six permanent neighborhood donor facilities where walk-ins are always welcome in addition to another location in Avon Lake where donations are accepted every Saturday. LifeShare holds mobile blood drives seven days a week. Click here to schedule an appointment or find an upcoming drive near you.
